When using a PC computer with a Windows Operating System, some users have reported issues logging into CBC Gem.
The error is described as follows:
After the user enters their credentials (email and password), an error message quickly flashes, the page refreshes, and the user is returned to the CBC Gem main page not logged into their account.
This error occurs when there is a de-synchronization between the user’s computer clock and the actual local time, so the two times do not match up.
Synchronizing the computer clock back to the actual local time enables users who had been experiencing this issue to log in to CBC Gem successfully.
If you are experiencing this issue, see below for how to synchronize your computer clock back to the actual local time based on the Windows Operating System you currently have installed on your computer.
Windows 11:
1. Open Settings on Windows 11.
2. Select “Time & language”.
3. Under the “Date & Time” section, select the “Sync now” button.
Windows 10:
1. Open Settings on Windows 10.
2. Select “Time & Language”.
3. Under the “Date & Time” section, select the “Sync now” button.
Please note, in order to synchronize your computer clock back to the actual local time, you will need to be signed in as the administrator on your device.
