Logging in to the Gem app for Roku
We're happy to announce the addition of the CBC Gem app for Roku.
The following instructions will help guide you through the ways you can log in:
Locate and select the Sign In button on the top right corner of the screen.
On the following screen select Sign In from the bottom of the screen.
Next, select Use different email since your Roku account email may not match your Gem account email.
Selecting the Use different email button will take you to the CBC Gem login options screen.
From this screen you have two options of how you can sign into Gem:
Using the onscreen virtual keyboard, enter your Gem email and select Continue.
Using the onscreen virtual keyboard, enter your Gem password and select Login.
Once your credentials have been accepted, you will be logged into CBC Gem.
This option will allow you to sign into Gem on any supported web browser.
Go to gem.cbc.ca/roku in your web browser.
A browser will open on your device, directing you to a page where you’ll be prompted to enter the eight-character code displayed on your TV screen.
Enter the code and select validate code.
After entering the code, you’ll be directed to a screen where you can sign in using the email address associated with your Gem account, or choose one of the two social login options: Apple or Google.
Select Sign in with email to log in using the email address associated with your Gem account.
Next, enter your Gem email address into the Email field and your Gem password in the Password field.
When done select Sign in.

If the code is accepted and pairing is successful, you will then be logged into the Gem app on your Samsung Smart TV.
