Pitching an investigative news tip or program idea
If your story is one CBC's investigative teams should look into, review the sites for Marketplace, The Fifth Estate, and Go Public, and contact the show you believe is the best fit for the story you're trying to tell.
If you'd like to pitch an idea for a TV show, podcast, web series or radio show, please use the forms on our Independent Producers page.
Contacting a CBC host or personality
Do you have notes, comments or questions for a CBC host or reporter? You can send them to us, too, and we’ll pass them along. Alternatively, many hosts and personalities have their own Facebook and Twitter accounts, which is another way to reach them directly. If you're just looking for the spelling of a personality's name, you can look through our personalities roster here.
CBC Radio One local programs
If you have a comment or question about something you heard over-the-air (at cbc.ca/listen or on CBC Radio’s app) on a local program, use the local contact links above to find your regional show and contact them directly.
CBC Radio One national programs
Many network programs that air across the country have their own contact forms. To contact a national show, click on the program name from the All Shows list, and then the 'Contact' link to fill in the form. You can also type the program name directly into the address bar of your browser as so: www.cbc.ca/radio/[programname]
Example: www.cbc.ca/radio/thesundayedition
We know that not every show has a public e-mail or contact form, and in those instances we ask that you share your message with us and we’ll pass it along on your behalf.
CBC Music
If you’re interested in getting the name of a song you heard on CBC Music either over-the-air or streamed online, you can find our program playlogs under the On Air tab. Notice a missing song from a playlist? Let us know and we’ll try our best to track it down for you! Currently, CBC Music programs do not have any contact forms on their pages, so if you have a question or comment for one of these shows, send it to us and we’ll pass it along.
