To change your password, visit any story that has comments enabled. Visit https://www.cbc.ca/news and look for the blue comment icon beside some headlines:
Click on a story that has comments enabled, then scroll down to the comment section.
Click on LOG IN:
A panel should open up that prompts you for an email and password (or to log in via Facebook or Google). Below this is a link that says "Forgot Password?". Click this link:
You will then be prompted to enter your email address and click Reset.
You should receive an email that contains a link within a couple of minutes. Follow the link and you will be taken to a CBC webpage with a pop-up that will ask you to enter a new password. Once you've saved your new password, use it to log into your account.
If you have trouble with any of these steps, please read on.
- If you don't receive the password reset email, please make sure it's not in your spam or junk mail folder. Check your spam or junk folder settings to make sure they aren't configured to automatically delete unrecognized emails.
- If you still can't find the password reset email, please go back to the Forgot Password page and try the password reset process again, ensuring that you type your email address correctly.
