How do I reset my CBC Music artist account password?
In order to reset your password, you will first need to navigate to the login page.
Once the page has loaded, click on “Forgot password”, as indicated below.
When prompted, enter your email address. It is very important that you enter the correct email address in order to receive this link. Check the spelling, and make sure that you enter the email address that is associated with your existing artist account.
Click the "Reset” button to be sent an email confirmation. A message will appear that reads Reset Password email sent. Please check your inbox to proceed, as illustrated below.
Once you receive and open the confirmation email, click the activation link, as depicted below.
*** If you do not receive the verification email within 5 minutes, please check you spam folder, as it may have been automatically sorted there. If it is not in your spam folder or your inbox, proceed to the end of this FAQ, and see the section entitled The verification email never arrived!
Clicking the link will open a new tab to reset your password, which will look like this:
Enter your email address and choose a new password. Click “Reset”. After receiving the Password successfully reset notification on the page, navigate to the login page.
Now, log in with your new password and the corresponding email address.
You’re all set!

If you see the Reset Password email sent. Please check your inbox to proceed notification but do not receive the email verification within 5 minutes, please check your spam folder.
If you do not see the email in your inbox or spam folder, you may not have an existing artist account associated with that particular email address, or you may have entered the address incorrectly. Please try again, and ensure that the email is in fact the original email associated with that specific artist account and that it is correctly spelled.
If you are still unsuccessful, try registering a new account to confirm your email is already in use.
If you have forgotten which email address is associated with your artist page, please submit a request through our Help Centre, and include in your message the name of your band along with your artist page URL.
